APHGC is pleased to announce its international Language Immersion Courses in English and Spanish. These courses will take place at the Association’s headquarters and aim to promote language learning while supporting participants’ professional development, employability, and integration into the labour market. All courses will be held from July 2 to July 10, 2026, at the APHGC facilities located at C/Príncipe de Vergara, 248, Madrid.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

The APHGC language immersion course offers a unique opportunity to learn Spanish in
a practical and dynamic environment.

What are the requirements to take the course?
Participants must be between 18 and 24 years old, with preference given to applicants who are orphans.
A minimum language level of B1 (intermediate), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is required.
If there are more applicants than available places and candidates are equally qualified, priority will be given to the youngest applicants.
Will the academic and activity programme be available?
Yes. Prior to the start of the course, students will receive the programme designed by the academic institution. It will include a range of complementary socio-cultural activities, such as:
- Visits around the city of Madrid
- Visits to Guardia Civil facilities
- Lectures and discussions on current topics
- Extra Talk Time (individual speaking sessions)
- Games and theatre activities
How much does the course cost?
The course, including accommodation, meals, teaching staff, travel, and all activities, is fully funded through the APHGC 2026 budget.
Participants (and, where applicable, their associated institution) will only be responsible for personal expenses and travel to and from the APHGC headquarters (please refer to the official call for specific details).

The main beneficiaries of this language immersion course are orphans supported
by the Social Services of the following institutions:

- “Націона́льна полі́ція Украї́ни“- Ukraine”.

- “Koninklijke Marechaussee (KMar)” Netherlands.
- Viešojo saugumo tarnyba – VST – Lithuania
